A little director's note

Short, punchy titles make the strongest impact. Start with a two- or three-word title, then experiment with dramatic lighting and slower reveals.

THE ART OF AN OPENING SCENE

Your title deserves more than plain text.

A cinematic title sequence creates anticipation before the main video even begins. Typography, light, movement and sound work together to introduce a story, product, name or message. A well-timed reveal can make a simple phrase feel deliberate and memorable.

InkMotion Cinematic Title Maker brings those creative choices into a straightforward browser editor. Choose a visual atmosphere such as gold-lit drama, neon city noir or a deep-space reveal. Customize your title, animation timing, motion and aspect ratio without needing professional video-editing software.

You can also use your own image as a background or add music from your device. The browser renders the visuals locally and records a video using supported browser media capabilities, so you can make short film intros, logo-free title cards, social video hooks, quote openings and trailers without an account.

GOOD TO KNOW

A few questions before action.

Everything you need to get started with cinematic intros.

Is this cinematic title maker really free?

Yes. You can create, preview and export title animations directly in your browser without a subscription or account. Rendering uses your device's resources.

Can I make an intro for YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels?

Yes. Choose 9:16 for vertical videos. The editor also offers widescreen 16:9 for standard videos and square 1:1 for social posts.

Can I add my own music or background photo?

Yes. Select an image and an audio file from your device. They are processed locally in the browser rather than uploaded to our server. Only upload or use media you have the right to use.

What video format can I download?

WebM is the recommended browser-based video format. MP4 export is available only if your browser supports recording that format. When MP4 recording is unavailable, the editor offers WebM instead.

Does it work on mobile devices?

The editor has a responsive design and can run on mobile browsers that support HTML Canvas. Video export and performance depend on the browser, device memory and supported codecs; Chrome or Edge on desktop usually gives the most consistent results.

Can I use the title video for commercial work?

You can use your own text and outputs for projects, subject to applicable laws and any rights affecting music, fonts, images and other material you provide. Only upload content you are authorized to use.

Why does exporting take as long as the video?

The editor records the animation in real time in the browser. A seven-second intro usually requires approximately seven seconds of recording plus some time to finalize the file.
