Do I need lots of photos?
No. This version uses only one main image. The tool splits that image into many square blocks and reveals them one by one.
How does the effect work?
The browser slices your image into a grid of square sections. During playback, the sections appear in sequence until the full picture is visible.
Can I use any type of photo?
Yes. Any image supported by your browser can be used, including portraits, pets, landscapes and illustrations. The main photo is fitted to your chosen aspect ratio.
Can I add music and export vertical video?
Yes. Add a music file if you wish, select 9:16 and export a WebM video. Audio encoding depends on browser support; the tool will notify you if it cannot include your track.
Is my uploaded photo stored on InkMotion?
No. The photo is read and processed locally in your browser for the reveal. The tool does not upload your selected file to InkMotion servers.
Why does the export need Chrome or Edge?
The full-duration HD exporter relies on browser WebCodecs capabilities. On unsupported devices or insecure pages, you may still preview and save a PNG, but video export may not be available.
